Executive Assistant/Policy Director

As Executive Assistant to the Founder/CEO, Leslie oversees administration and SI3‘s media offerings. She also works with the firm’s strategic partners and clients to enhance the SI3 client experience and quality. As Policy Director, Leslie overseas the development of policy and research for SI3’s clients utilizing her deep policy experience and expertise.

Leslie’s thirty-five-year career has established her as an expert in strategic communications and public policy. She has advised labor unions, non-profits, advocacy groups, political candidates, and government officials in how to successfully handle public affairs issues, campaigns and manage crises. She co-owns a strategic communications firm and has worked with multiple non-profits, government agencies, associations and political candidates on media strategy, complex public affairs issues, and stakeholder relationships.

Leslie’s private sector experience includes running her family’s commercial real estate company in Saint Paul, Minnesota for 15 years. In the public sector she spent a decade with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office as Press Secretary, worked at NBC News in Washington, D.C., and at the White House. Leslie currently serves on the Select Board in her hometown of Provincetown, Massachusetts.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a master’s degree in public policy & journalism from The American University.
