The Nation and our community today mourn the loss of a generational icon, Joe Madison, The Black Eagle. His show was a daily practice in the Carter household.The SI3 Group sends its condolences to the Madison and Sirius XM Urban View families! We thank him for sharing his wisdom and educating us daily! May his legacy of championing social justice and articulating his eternal provocative question “what are you going to do about it?” provide us with the courage, strength, and commitment to make our country and communities better for all in the days and years ahead – RIP Joe #building community!
Joe Madison was the voice of a generation.
Whether it was a hunger strike for voting rights or his advocacy for anti-lynching legislation that I was proud to sign in 2022, Joe fought hard against injustice.
